We operate 7 days a week part time and 8-hour shifts. Availability on weekends is a requirement.
As of August 2023, WorldTrendz offers a starting hourly wage of $10.10.
Responsibilities carried out by our team members include:
- Cleaning tasks such as maintaining bathrooms, windows, display cases, vacuuming, dusting, etc.
- Restocking products
- Applying prices and stickers to products
- Creating merchandise displays and ensuring an attractive store presentation
- Addressing customers' inquiries and concerns
- Educating customers about ongoing promotions, events, and other WorldTrendz updates
- Operating the point of sale system
- Welcoming customers
- Answering phone calls
Here is a list of qualifications and skills beneficial for this role:
- Prior customer service experience (1+ year)
- Willingness to learn and the ability to admit not knowing but being willing to find out
- Effective multitasking: balancing customer needs, store maintenance, and ongoing projects
- Availability for work on weekends, weekdays, and evenings
- Strong verbal communication skills
- A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
- Basic math proficiency
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Maintaining a professional appearance
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Comfort working in an environment with strong scents (related to incense and aroma products)
- Capability to stand for extended periods
- Adaptability in a fast-paced setting
